Sights on the NFR
Recently Optima was given an opportunity to invest in the future of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association. A collaborative sponsorship will surely bear fruitful earnings for Lyndsey Carder.
Lyndsey, 22 years old, was born and raised in Midland, TX. She has been riding horses for over half of her life and has spent the last five years competitively barrel racing across Texas.
In 2016, Lyndsey acquired her horse C.U. Billie, aka “Cubbie”, as an addition to her barrel racing team. With the assistance of her trainer, Lorilee McNerlin of 4MC stables and countless training hours have produced imaginably faster times. With the variety of skill sets on my team, there is major anticipation for future competitions. Lyndsey would like to thank her family and friends, especially Beka McNerlin, for the incredible support and encouragement.
To date, Lyndsey and Cubbie have acquired over $20,000 in earnings, a championship buckle, and countless prizes. Her latest competition was in Vegas, where she placed 4th. Cubbie is truly an incredible horse and may be compelled to make an appearance at the NFR.
We wish Lyndsey and Cubbie good luck on all of your future competitions.
